Reading Break: reading break at UCFV consists of a whole 2 days off. yay [sarcasm]. It was actually pretty nice, so i will stop complaining. pretty much i worked on the weekend, had a lovely delicious brunch at Aunt M.E.'s on sunday (if youve seen Heidi's blog then you already know that)...Monday i worked all day on 2 papers, and yesterday i returned some christmas presents that i hadn't gotten around to returning yet: some scrubs from paul (had to go to Langley, so thats why i hadnt done that yet) and a shirt to le chateau (had to go all the way to abbotsford, so that's why i hadnt done that yet). In exchange i got some some headbands and jewelry (and purple scrubs).
anyway, first year nursing students are super excited about being able to wear scrubs, so thats why i mention them.
now its back to school....poo poo.
my skin is breaking out like crazy, i cant stand it right now. I lent my magical mystical mexican zit cream to eric, (this intense goo that dries out your pimples from mexico)...so i am stuck with like, 7 red sore scabby things i try to cover up with makeup and then i look like....i dont know, weird.
to all of you that don't have to deal with that...count your blessings (which is ALL of you).
welp. i gotta get ready for class. peace.

I think you forgot I read your blog. I deal with zits day in and day out. Only I don't have a magical Mexican marker to take care of all my worries. Which is why I have now cut sugar out of my diet. Right, we'll see how long that lasts for (on day 4 right now-woot woot). Seriously though, who wouldn't be excited to wear scrubs? You don't have to think about what you're going to wear in the morning, they're not flattering on anybody, and they cover up all those bloated days us girls have. Hmm, maybe I'll get myself a pair of scrubs just for every day wear...
Can't wait to talk :)
haha, every day wear. I agree! Maybe next time I have an unanounced interview in my messy apartment, scrubs could make me look a little more purposeful.
I think my freckles camo my zits...at least I always thought they did. Just burn your face, it gets rid of everything! The last 7 days of skin, your tan, everything.
Kathryn...you don't get zits. One or two a year doesn't count...you and tim are both the same..."oh I'm breaking out...whine complain...i have one measily pimple hidden behind my ear".
Hey! How'd you know thats where I have been getting them? What is UP with that? Behind my ear? And in my hair too! Ok, so I also have ears and hair that help to hide them...haha, if only I had one a year.
First of all, you I agree with Jen. Until you deal with bad skin like WE have, you don't get to complain. Well, actually you can complain...cuz you're allowed to do what you want. But I will not feel sorry for you cuz I have had BAD skin all my life. Only NOW is it SLOWLY starting to get better.
Sorry...that's my rant :) Anyway...let's hangout soon! Its been TOO long! Let me know when it would work to go for coffee or something...or perhaps teach you how to post pictures...you're in dire need! :)
