Reading Break: reading break at UCFV consists of a whole 2 days off. yay [sarcasm]. It was actually pretty nice, so i will stop complaining. pretty much i worked on the weekend, had a lovely delicious brunch at Aunt M.E.'s on sunday (if youve seen Heidi's blog then you already know that)...Monday i worked all day on 2 papers, and yesterday i returned some christmas presents that i hadn't gotten around to returning yet: some scrubs from paul (had to go to Langley, so thats why i hadnt done that yet) and a shirt to le chateau (had to go all the way to abbotsford, so that's why i hadnt done that yet). In exchange i got some some headbands and jewelry (and purple scrubs).
anyway, first year nursing students are super excited about being able to wear scrubs, so thats why i mention them.
now its back to school....poo poo.
my skin is breaking out like crazy, i cant stand it right now. I lent my magical mystical mexican zit cream to eric, (this intense goo that dries out your pimples from mexico)...so i am stuck with like, 7 red sore scabby things i try to cover up with makeup and then i look like....i dont know, weird.
to all of you that don't have to deal with that...count your blessings (which is ALL of you).
welp. i gotta get ready for class. peace.

I thought that joke deserved a blog all to itself. hee hee. anyway, not much new going on here. i am dying my hair and my scalp is incredibly itchy but i cant scratch it or i'll have black fingers and fingernails. its frusterating. Question (please respond): Is trimming your hair when you are growing it out worth it? Obviously it makes the ends neater, but does it make it seem...less long and not worth it? I am trying to decide. I have been growing my hair out for years but i keep cutting it. i am tempted to get a trim (its been 6 months).
Also: here is a list of commonly mispronounced words that i've noticed, and maybe you can all spread the word... InteracT (debit) is INTERAC, expresso is ESPRESSO, supposingly, or supposibly is SUPPOSEDLY. That's all that comes to mind right now.
alright, well i hope this has been helpful.
also, related to debit...in australia, the very first day I hung out with Paul in town he said that he needed to find a Tyme Machine, which is what Interac machines are called in Wisconsin. I was so confused, it was really quite funny. I thought he was looking for a "time machine" and i'm like, ok, who is this crazy, and what is he talking about?
I think its a cute story.
Joke of the Day: Why does Snoop Dog always carry an umbrella?
Answer: Fo' Drizzle!

Hey peeps
so i'm sure you've all heard about the fire (check out paul's blog if you want more info) so i am not going to blog about that. maybe i should becuase...i dont really have a lot to say! school is blah, work is blah, i am in a rut right now-paul's still unemployed, i still haven't lost any weight (eating 2 bags of chips, and a litre of ice cream probably doesnt help- plus that day i ate icing for breakfast... ) interesting.
anyway! i am going to be in a wedding show on sunday, against my will sort of. Some regular customer that comes into earls always has these wedding shows becuase she owns a wedding dress boutique and she gets some of the girls to model in it, and she asked me like, a month ago, and (not planning on it) i said, "well maybe...if im not working that sunday and i dont have too much homework..." or something like that, and she must have asked the manager if i'm working on sunday (and im not) and now i have a message telling me to go get measured tomorrow morning for my dresses...yay... just what i wanted to be doing on my one day off. (can random people have access to your blog? I wouldnt really want her to read this...) anyway...thats about it.
if anybody feels so inclined to pray for paul's job situation (we cant really hold off much longer)...and for me-to feel excited about life...that would be cool.
thanks love you all
